FBI confirms identity of shooter who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump

The FBI has officially confirmed the identity of the shooter who attempted to assassinate former US president Donald Trump as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks. Mr Trump survived the attempt but a bullet pierced the upper part of his right ear. The former president was evacuated from the site by Secret Service following the gunshots.
