Federal government’s $1 billion Solar Sunshot plan open for submissions

The federal government’s $1 billion Solar SunShot plan is now officially open for submissions. The program is aimed at significantly boosting the manufacturing of solar panels in Australia. One in three households are using solar energy, however, only one per cent of the supply is made here, with most of them being made in China. The initiative is also meant to create quality jobs and a more resilient supply chain.
