Radio 2CC host Stephen Cenatiempo says the move by the federal Liberal Party regarding the NSW branch doesn’t have “long-term” prospects. The federal Liberals have staged a takeover of the NSW branch of the party, sacking the state executive and replacing them with three politicians to run the branch. “The NSW Liberal Party has always been driven by factionalism,” Mr Cenatiempo told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “Whilst I applaud this … I don’t have any long-term hope for any real change. “As soon as the federal intervention is over in 10 months’ time, the factional warlords are still there and they go back to their positions of power.”
