Federer arrives at Shanghai Masters, meets victorious Djokovic

Roger Federer arrived for a day of tennis at the Shanghai Masters on Friday (October 11). The former 20-time Grand Slam champion greeted fans, signed autographs and posing for selfies ahead of the two quarter-finals scheduled at the ATP Tour 1000 event. Federer, who bagged two titles in the Chinese city in 2014 and 2017, met old rival Novak Djokovic, after the Serbian fought from a set down to beat Czech Jakub Mensik 6-7(4) 6-1 6-4. American seventh seed Taylor Fritz saw off Belgian veteran David Goffin 6-3 6-4 in the other last eight clash. (Production: Stefan Haskins)
