Festival Of Friendship Serves Off

The Chinese Embassy, celebrating 50 years of diplomacy with Trinidad and Tobago, collaborated with the Ministry of Sport and Community Development and the Trinidad and Tobago Table Tennis Association to host the Festival of Friendship at the Eastern Regional Facility. Schools from across the St. George East district were invited to learn the fundamentals of table tennis under the tutelage of national coaches. The festival will run from today, Friday September 13th, until Sunday September 15th. The members of the T&T Table Tennis Association were delighted to receive several pieces of equipment from the Chinese Embassy and are excited about using them to increase learning and participation of the sport.
