‘Fight this battle’: Labor's renewables plan not aligning with regional Australia

Valley Alliance Chair Tim White has encouraged the Greens and other environmentalist groups to “come and fight” the announcement of Labor’s plan to clear private land in a bid to compensate for a 75-metre-tall transmission pylon. “We will find out who comes to our aid,” Mr White told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “At this stage, it’s radio silence. “I would think the Greens … should come and fight this battle for us and with us.”
