Fighting illegal fishing – FPU of the UPDF impounds substandard nets worth 1.2 billion

The fisheries protection unit of the UPDF has impounded substandard fishing nets worth 1.2 billion shillings. The consignment was hidden in AGOA stores located in Fine spinners in Bugoloobi. In the operation, one suspected identified as manager was arrested while the owner is still at large.
