Final farewell to Basdeo Panday

Tuesday, January 9, was a significant day as the nation witnessed the final rites for the late Basdeo Panday. It was a funeral fit for this country's first-ever Hindu and Indo-Trinidadian Prime Minister. The state event encompassed military procedures, fitting tributes, and, most importantly, an outpouring of love from Mr Panday's family and the public at large.
