Finance Minister: Local Tourism Thriving

Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, says the tourism sector is experiencing a revival after the challenges of the pandemic. He points to a 77% increase in visitor arrivals compared to the previous year. He made his comments as he addressed Monday's sitting of the Senate. Minister Imbert indicates in 2023, air arrivals increased by 36% fuelled by increased air lift from major airlines and a rising interest from visitors from the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.
