FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS LINKED TO ENVIRONMENTAL HARM, ACTIONAID URGES URGENT ACTION

ActionAid Uganda's Executive Director, Xavier Ejoyi, has highlighted financial investments as major contributors to environmental harm. Onapito says a global report launched in 47 countries shows how the investments support damaging industries, calling for urgent action to reverse the trend. He was at a press conference during the launch of the Climate Crisis Financing Report in Kampala.
