Fire crews race to contain Los Angeles wildfires as death toll rises to 24

Nearly a week after the Palisades fire broke out, wiping out an entire area of Los Angeles, Al Jazeera has been taken behind the police lines to see the damage. Residents don’t know when they’ll be allowed back into their homes because of toxins in the air and water, and risks of gas leaks and from downed power lines.
