Fire destroys 2 houses & damages at least 4 others

A mid-morning fire has destroyed two houses and damaged at least four others in Arden Close, The Pine, St. Michael. Barbados Fire Service Divisional Officer Tremelle Perch says they received the call around 10:42 a.m. and responded with three fire tenders from Worthing, Arch Hall and The Pine Fire Stations, and 14 officers under his command. Meanwhile, Resident Jeffrey Thomas, whose house received extensive damage says he was inside with his wife and two dogs when the fire started.
