Firefighter Jumps Through Ambulance Window to Stop Thief: Police
Video shows a firefighter jumping through the window of an ambulance in Ohio on Sunday. Willoughby Hills authorities said Brian Paladino, a firefighter and paramedic, took action when he saw a man hop in the driver’s seat of the emergency vehicle and begin to drive off. Paladino dove through the window and subdued the suspect while the vehicle was in motion. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie gives a play-by-play of the incident. When the group exited the hospital, they saw the suspect beginning to drive off with Paladino hot on his tail. The ambulance crashed into the helicopter landing pad of the hospital while Paladino was taking control of the situation. Authorities charged Jamarian Hill with robbery and auto theft.
