Firefighters battle two different fires in the LA area

Firefighters battled two fires in the Los Angeles area early Monday morning. One fire started at around 4 a.m. at a vacant building in downtown LA near the 10 Freeway. The second fire sparked at a building in South Los Angeles at around 3 a.m. at what appeared to be a mercantile business, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
