Firefighting equipment stolen in Melbourne

More than $20,000 worth of equipment has been stolen from a volunteer firefighting station in Melbourne. It's believed thieves snuck into the Werribee station on Tuesday morning. The thieves managed to secure essential gear used to battle bushfires. The community could be forced to cancel their annual games for Junior Volunteers if the equipment isn't returned. It’s believed the heartless thieves broke in while firefighters were battling blazes on Christmas day.
