Firms say e-waste recycling has gone up at least 50% from 3 years ago

Singapore electronic waste companies say the amount recycled has gone up by at least 50 per cent from three years ago. They expect this to increase further as it is partially driven by more e-waste being generated. This is due to consumers and businesses changing up hardware more frequently as technology advances. CNA's Syahida Othman speaks with Vincent Quck, a Sustainability and E-waste Consultant at Virogreen Singapore. She learns about things to note when recycling electronic waste, including electric vehicles, and what else Singapore can do to improve the take-up rate.
