First ERIC Breast Cancer Run raises UGX 15 million for screening vans

Runners from different parts of the country converged at Nakasero Primary School today to be flagged off for the Early Recognition is Critical (ERIC Breast Cancer Run) first edition, which aims to create awareness of the disease and encourage early detection and better care. The run is intended to raise money to purchase screening vans for people, especially in rural areas, who find it hard to access proper diagnosis.
