Fisheries officials dispel fish shortage rumours

Fisheries officials are dispelling rumours that there is a shortage of fish on the island and that the price will go up. Minister of Environment, National Beautification and the Blue and Green Economy Adrian Forde says that is not the case. He made the comments after meeting with five fish processors on the island today. He says as it stands, July is usually the end of the large pelagic fish season when fishing boats will usually be hauled out for routine maintenance.
