Five dead and thousands displaced as wildfires threaten Los Angeles area

A new fire is burning in the Los Angeles area, and mandatory evacuation orders are in place on Hollywood. At least five people have been killed in multiple wildfires across LA. Tens of thousands of people have fled their homes. US President Joe Biden has offered federal assistance, and the National Guard has been deployed.
