Five dead in Bondi Junction Westfield stabbing

NSW Police Central Metropolitan Region Commander Anthony Cooke says he has been advised five people have been killed in the Bondi Junction Westfields stabbing. Mr Cooke also indicated the alleged offender is “now deceased”. He says there are more than “several other people who have been conveyed to hospital”. “A number of those are in critical condition,” Mr Cooke said during a media conference on Saturday. “I am content that there is no continuing threat. “Police, as I have said, commenced investigations into the matter which will continue into the evening.”
