Warning: Graphic Content A driver in New Orleans’ French Quarter crashed a pickup truck into a crowd celebrating New Year’s Day and opened fire, killing 10 people and injuring over 35 in what the FBI is describing as a potential act of terrorism. The attack, which occurred at 3:15 a.m. near the intersection of Canal and Bourbon Streets, disrupted the bustling New Year’s celebrations in the historic tourist district. The suspect, who swerved around barricades and struck two police officers before firing at law enforcement, was killed in a shootout with police, according to officials.
