Footage of Titan sub wreckage sitting on the ocean floor released by US Coast Guard

The first footage showing the wreckage of the Titan submersible was released by the US Coast Guard Marine Board of Investigation (MBI) on Tuesday, September 17, as part of a public hearing into the vessel’s 2023 implosion. This footage, which was captured on June 22 last year, shows the Titan submersible’s severed tail cone and other debris from the incident. The wreck is located several hundred yards from the location of the Titanic shipwreck, officials said.
