Forced displacement of Palestinians must be rejected: Chinese envoy

Zhang Jun, China's permanent representative to the United Nations, said that "any forced displacement of Palestinians must be firmly rejected" at a UN meeting on January 12. Algeria requested the meeting to discuss the threat of forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza. "Some people talk constantly about the protection of human rights and prevention of genocide while stonewalling and deflecting attention from the appalling situation in Gaza.
