Foreign partners phasing out Malaria funding for Uganda by 2030

Foreign partners funding efforts to eliminate malaria are phasing out their support to Uganda by 2030. According to the Ministry of Health, this decision will create a funding gap of about 600 billion shillings every year. The implications will be adverse considering that the funds have been subsidizing the cost of treating malaria, among other priorities.
