Forensics expert: Katanga murder weapon was misidentified

The head of forensic science at Uganda Police has told the High Court that investigators made an error while noting the model of the pistol that killed Henry Katanga. Appearing before the High Court today, senior forensics expert Andrew Mubiru said the pistol number, which identifies the weapon, remained consistent. This was in response to a submission by the defense last week, where they challenged the prosecution's testimony that a different gun from what was described in the forensic report was submitted to the court as evidence.
