Former Indian PM Manmohan Singh dies aged 92

Manmohan Singh, India's first Sikh Prime Minister, died on Thursday (Dec 26) at the age of 92. Known as a "reluctant king”, the soft-spoken leader served two terms from 2004 to 2014 and is credited with driving India's unprecedented economic growth. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to his predecessor, saying, "India mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished leaders”.
