Singapore's former transport minister S Iswaran arrived at the State Courts on Monday (Oct 7) to surrender and begin his jail term of 12 months, after confirming he will not appeal. He was sentenced to jail for obtaining gifts worth about S$403,300 over seven years while he was a public servant, and for obstructing justice.
