Former senior cops concerned about crime in Tobago

Concerned by the record-high murder toll in Tobago, former Assistant Commissioners of Police have called for an overhaul of the island’s policing tactics. Tobago has recorded 13 murders for the year—the highest number of killings in over a decade. The former assistant commissioners say there must be robust investigations, focused intelligence gathering, and comprehensive community engagement, in order to reduce crime levels.
