Former Westside Pavillion mall named new UCLA research hub

The formerly known Westside Pavillion mall now has a new purpose. On Wednesday, UCLA announced its plan to transform the 700,000 square-foot property into a research hub, expected to bring together scholars, corporate partners, government agencies and start-ups.
