Former YouTube chief executive Susan Wojcicki dies aged 56

Former YouTube chief executive Susan Wojcicki has died aged 56. The tech pioneer also served as an executive at Google and was one of the company’s first staff members. Ms Wojcicki died after a two-year battle with lung cancer. Google Chief Executive Sundar Pichai has paid tribute to her, writing in a letter to employees: “Susan was one of the most active and vibrant people I have ever met. Her loss is devastating for all of us who know and love her, for the thousands of Googlers she has led over the years, and for millions of people all over the world who looked up to her.”
