Four arrested for dumping garbage in drainage channel

Environment enforcement officers have arrested four people on suspicion of dumping garbage into a drainage channel. Naomi Namara, the corporate communications manager of the National Environment Management Authority, says they acted on a video on social media that showed two women and a child pouring bags of rubbish into the channel in Nansana municipality, Wakiso district, during a downpour.
