Francis Aquino Dee: Impeach case vs Sara 'right thing to do'

Some question how Congress could take up the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte as Congress is set to go on break and many of its members will eventually focus on campaigning for the 2025 midterm elections. But for Francis Joseph "Kiko" Aquino Dee, one of the complainants in the impeachment complaint, filing the impeachment case is "the right thing to do" despite the seemingly short window for it to be discussed at the House of Representatives. "Even if it goes one way or another I think it's important that people get their voices [heard] on this," Dee told ANC on Tuesday. "That citizens, in particular, get their voices to say that despite what Malacanang may or may not think is a violation of the constitution, we see that they're clear violations and this needs to be discussed, this needs to be decided upon."
