French mother whose children were damaged by antiepileptic drug to receive over £200,000

The manufacturer of an antiepileptic drug has been ordered to pay more than £200,000 to a French mother whose children were damaged in the womb. The case was brought by Marine Martin whose eldest child, Salomé, was born with facial malformations and suffers from dyspraxia. Florent, the youngest, was born with malformations which required two surgical interventions and was also diagnosed with Asperger's autism.
