Fuel tanker fire inferno - 22 patients remain critical following Kigogwa fuel tanker fire

Four patients of the 27 admitted at Kiruddu Referral Hospital after the Tuesday fuel tanker fire incident in Kigogwa, have died while others remain hospitalized. Dr. Edris Kalanzi, the consultant plastic surgeon at Kiruddu Hospital, confirmed that five of the patients sustained severe burn injuries up to 90% and are in critical condition.
