Police in Farmington Hills, Michigan, were responding to a domestic disturbance when a man pulled a rifle and started shooting at police. Dejuan Patrick Evans, 32, was charged last week with three counts of assault with intent to murder, one count of firearm possession by a prohibited person, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, six counts of felony firearm second or subsequent offense, and one count of domestic violence. He was hospitalized after being shot while peering out of a glass door while holding the rifle.
