Funeral held for murdered Olympic athlete Rebecca Cheptegei

An Olympic runner who died after being doused in petrol and set on fire by her former partner is due to be buried today with full military honours. Rebecca Cheptegei was killed just three weeks after her final race at Paris 2024 at the hands of her former boyfriend, Dickson Ndiema Marangach. The funeral will be held in Uganda.
