Gaza’s Al-Shifa hospital “a case of absolute misery”

While visiting and delivering supplies to Gaza's Al-Shifa Hospital, World Health Organization (WHO) Emergency Medical Team Coordinator Sean Casey called the situation there, "a case of absolute misery”. Al-Shifa, once Gaza's largest hospital, is overwhelmed due to continuous hostilities and a surge in wounded patients from Israeli airstrikes. Israel, while conducting military operations in Gaza, denies deliberately targeting civilians and asserts that Hamas uses civilian areas for military purposes. Israel's attacks in Gaza have resulted in nearly 20,700 deaths from airstrikes, including 250 in the last day, with more casualties suspected under rubble.
