GBV epidemic | NPA concerned by high number of withdrawn cases

The National Prosecuting Authority has opened its 64th victim support centre in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. The facility will serve communities in 37 suburbs and towns and 12 informal settlements. Though there's been an increase of 75% in convictions for reported crimes, national director of public prosecutions, Advocate Shamila Batohi, says the NPA is deeply concerned about the number of cases withdrawn by victims. eNCA's Nobesuthu Hejana reports. #dstv403
