Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar: Businesses playing it safe this year to avoid major losses

It is the first day of the Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar and it will be a smaller one this year, with 500 stalls. Organisers say this is due to development around the area, which has reduced the space available. Meanwhile, businesses say the bazaar is losing its lustre, with some cutting back on the number of booths they are renting, or not wanting to be part of the event. Nadirah Zaidi has more.
