Giving back to children in need
Children in need are again the focus of the Chefette Fun Run. Slated for May 19, it provides Chefette and the co-sponsors with the opportunity to continue the legacy of the late Dame Olga Lopes-Seale, the creator of the Needy Children's Fund. At the launching of this year's event, Gerry Lewis, General Manager of Radisson Aquatica, one of the co-sponsors of the event told the gathering the event provides for the needs of those who are less fortunate. And before handing a cheque to the organisers, Managing Director of Chefette Restaurants, Ryal Haloute, said the company is pleased to continue with the work. He said the company's philosophy is to give back.
