Global Handwashing Day - Handwashing peaked during Covid at 98%

At least 70% of non-communicable diseases could be prevented if people embraced regular handwashing. During Global Handwashing Day celebrations at Namboole Stadium, the Minister for Water and Environment, Sam Cheptoris, expressed concern over why such a simple yet crucial practice is still neglected by a large portion of the population.
