In Southern California, firefighters have initiated a full-scale aerial assault on multiple raging wildfires, battling to contain the infernos amid forecasts of challenging weather that may exacerbate the situation. The devastation has left many families with their homes in ruins and their lives irrevocably changed. The death toll has risen for the fifth consecutive day, with 11 confirmed fatalities and 13 individuals still unaccounted for, raising concerns that these numbers may increase in the coming days.
