Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's plane landed in Florida for an unexpected meeting with U.S. president-elect Donald Trump on Friday, just days after the incoming president threatened to impose tariffs on Canadian imports. Canada's highest court has ruled British Columbia can move ahead with a class-action lawsuit representing provinces across Canada, suing opioid makers for their alleged role in the country's drug epidemic. The Notre Dame cathedral partially opened its doors on Friday, after being closed for more than 5.5 years.
