Global National: Oct. 26 | 2024: Israel says it avoided oil and nuclear facilities in Iran strikes

The two most powerful armies in the Middle East and arguably the region’s two biggest enemies are on high alert after Israel launched retaliatory airstrikes on Iran early this morning. Israel strategically targeted missile manufacturing sites in Iran, killing four military officers. Israel says it strategically avoided oil production facilities, nuclear sites and civic infrastructure was also spared. Reggie Cecchini has the latest developments. The issue of transgender rights has emerged as a surprise issue in the Saskatchewan election. The topic has become a flashpoint in culture war politics over the last few years but there is no talk about a new policy related to parental and transgender rights until relatively late in the campaign.
