GOOD CAUSE FOR SAVE THE LUNGS OF THE CITY WITH HOUSE OF JAZZ AND THE UGANDA GOLF CLUB

The House of Jazz initiative in collaboration with the Uganda Golf Club made an initiative to save the lungs of the city campaign with the key importance revolving around environmental conservation. Environmental conservation is one of the most essential factors that contribute to a country’s climate change. Uganda is privileged to be among the countries in Africa that take these initiatives seriously. The House of Jazz in collaboration with the Uganda Golf Club participated in various golf activities to fundraise for the proceedings with the theme save the lungs of the city campaign. This project is aimed at preserving the city’s green spaces, with efforts to promote environmental conservation through corporate social responsibility initiatives. Furthermore, it is important to safeguard Uganda’s natural resources in order to protect the environment. An overall amount of 31 million Uganda shillings was handed over to the Uganda Golf Club as part of the proceedings of the save the lungs of the city campaign. The Uganda Golf Club is situated in the heart of kampala, which signifies the importance of green spaces and environmental conservation for this country.
