Gov't & private sector working to tackle inflation

Government is actively working with the private sector to tackle the issue of inflation in the local market. Leading off the debate on the Appropriation Bill, 2024, Minister of Energy and Business Development, Senator Lisa Cummins said economists have advised against using price controls to manage prices. However, Senator Cummins says Government is currently reviewing proposals from the business community on the way forward.
