Gov't equipping youth with the necessary skills
Government remains committed to introducing cutting-edge training programmes for students to enhance their sense of business and risk-taking with the view of building global citizens. That's according to Minister of State in the Ministry of Education Technological and Vocational Training Sandra Husbands. Speaking during the official opening of the floating library, Logos Hope which was docked at the Flour Mill on the Mighty Gryner Highway Minister Husbands noted that the intention of Government is to transform the nature of Barbadian youth and equip them with the necessary skills to see themselves operating at an accepted international standard. Minister Husbands lauded the Logos boat for the concept it exemplified noting that it was a true reflection of unifying diverse nations and cultures in a harmonious space.
