Gov't seeking to boost the number of data scientists on island
Government is seeking to boost the number of data scientists and analysts on the island. That's according to Minister of Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology Marsha Caddle who says such a move is necessary, to prevent Barbados from missing out on the evolving artificial intelligence revolution taking place globally. She was speaking to CBC News during a Bazaar for the children in her St. Michael South Central Constituency. Ms. Caddle adds Barbadians will also soon be given an update on the climate-friendly designed life sciences and health tech hub, which is currently under construction at Newton, Christ Church.
