THE GOVERNMENT OF ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA SAYS THE RETAIL PRICES FOR GASOLINE AND DIESEL WILL REMAIN UNCHANGED, DESPITE A 9 PER CENT INCREASE IN THE COST OF DIESEL ANNOUNCED BY WEST INDIES OIL COMPANY. WIOC HAS ALSO ANNOUNCED A 1 PER CENT REDUCTION IN THE PRICE OF GASOLINE. THIS MEANS GASOLINE PRICES WILL REMAIN AT $13.99 PER GALLON, DIESEL AT $14.25 PER GALLON, A 20 POUND LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS OR COOKING GAS CYLINDER FOR $32.00, THE 25 POUND FOR $40.00 AND THE 100 POUND FOR $155.00. THE GOVERNMENT SAYS THESE PRICES ARE WELL BELOW THE REGIONAL AVERAGE.
