GOVERNMENT “DETERMINED” TO HAVE COUNTRY REMOVED FROM EU BLACKLIST

The Government says the necessary steps are being taken to remove the country from the European Union's list of non-co-operative jurisdictions for tax purposes. Top officials from various agencies were invited to cabinet on Thursday to discuss the matter, as the authorities seek to stave off the economic ripple effects. Jamie J. Roacher reports.
